Salmonella outbreak linked to cucumbers

CDC reports some of the most concerning outbreaks this year.

The CDC highlighted the following cases of contaminated food that resulted in foodborne illness outbreaks for 2015.

    Please ask the CDC for their estimate of how many of the 380,000 nursing home residents who died in 2015 from an infection acquired in their care-facility, can be attributed to foodservice? What if it were as little as 1 %? That would equal 3,800 deaths for 2015 and more concerning is that the CDC predicts a repeat for 2016.
