SQF Edition 10 Releases Early March 2026

In early March, SQFI will release the SQF Edition 10 Code, marking an important evolution of the program shaped by extensive industry input.
Edition 10 strengthens audit credibility, reinforces foundational food safety controls, and supports greater confidence in certification outcomes across the supply chain.
Following release, the Code will move through the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmarking process, with a planned transition period to support consistent implementation across the SQF system.
Pending completion of the review process, SQFI anticipates the first Edition 10 audits could begin as early as January 2027 (approximately nine months after release).
