Dole Recalls Baby Spinach Due to Salmonella Risk

Dole issued a voluntary recall of baby spinach.

Dole Fresh Vegetables announced a voluntary recall of its 6-oz Dole Baby Spinach bags after a random sample test conducted by the Department of Agriculture in Michigan tested positive for Salmonella. The recalled products were distributed in 10 states: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin. The products contain Use-by dates of August 5, 2019. No illnesses associated with the recall have been reported.

Satur Farms Recalls Baby Spinach Distributed by Whole Foods due to Possible Salmonella Contamination

Whole Foods Market has voluntarily recalled various products containing baby spinach following a recall by its supplier Satur Farms over concern of potential Salmonella contamination. The prepared foods have a Whole Foods Market scale label and were sold in eight states in the Northeast and Florida and include salads, pizza, sandwiches and wraps. No illnesses have been reported.
